To help protect our clients from the risk of wire fraud, we use CertifID: an easy-to-use solution to validate your identity and securely share wiring instructions before funds are transferred.
WARNING:
- If you receive a request to wire funds through any way other than CertifID, STOP. Call us immediately from a known, independently verified phone number.
- Don’t trust a phone number or email address provided in any email that asks you for money.
- Never wire money without double-checking that the wiring instructions are correct.
- Please remain vigilant against “spoof” calls using AI to impersonate law offices. If you receive a call from our office urging you to send funds or changing our wire information, immediately hang up and call our office from a known, independently verified phone number.
PLEASE NOTE: Funds CANNOT be accepted as ACH transactions. Electronic Funds transfers MUST be in the form of a wire.
OUR OFFICE REQUIRES FUNDS FOR REAL ESTATE PURCHASE CLOSINGS TO BE WIRED FOR AMOUNTS OVER $5000.
This policy is due to increased fraud and delays in funding. Please contact our office to obtain wire instructions.
We highly recommend all clients call our office PRIOR TO initiating their wire to confirm instructions and avoid further fraud. Failure to do so may result in substantial monetary loss.
